amazing, well-written memoir of MJF's path from celebrity to activist. Very moving and inspiring.

I learned a lot about Parkinson's disease while reading this book. Michael J. Fox is straight forward and honest in discussing his disease, he avoids playing the victim, and comes across as a genuinely nice guy. His optimism is inspiring.

very entertaining and forthright about his life, his disease, his fight for stem cell hope and his family. A very enjoyable read. ( )

This is a useful book. Fox's desire to tell his story gives hope to others who live with Parkinson's disease. ( )

Fox won me over early in this inspirational tome when he remarked that "Always Looking Up" doesn't merely refer to his status as a height-challenged person. As a long-time admirer of this actor, I enjoyed learning more about his optimistic outlook. I think I might have taken even more from the book had I read his first book, "Lucky Man." ( )
