This is the sequel to "To Die For" featuring Blair Mallory. The story is told in first person, which can be extremely annoying, since Blair is a very high maintenance airhead. Cannot stand all the gameplaying with her relationship either. Ms Howard always tells a good story, but some of them can be a bit formulaic. She has written some incredibly complex satisfying books, but not for a while now. I think I'll go back and re-read "Son of the Morning". I wish I didn't think she was just writing now to make a quick buck. Written in the first person, which took some getting used to, good story, quirky dialogue funny, sexy tense This is the sequel to To Die For and so there are semi-spoilers for the first one, they follow on almost immediately from each other. This one once again features Blair and Wyatt and their tempestuous relationship. The two of them are so alpha it's almost a constant battleground with them, but they're fun to read. Wyatt finally sets a deadline for Blair for them to get married as he's getting impatient with her. She starts her shopping only to be nearly run over in the car park. Wyatt thinks that it's just a coincidence but Blair is pretty sure that someone is out to get her again. But who can it be? Why do they want to kill her. Until Blair's house burns around her, Wyatt isn't convinced that she's in danger again. While this is an interesting and fun read, it's almost a redux of the first story in the series and really Blair is starting to get annoying. At least though she largely learns from her mistakes. no reviews | add a review
