About meI'm a bookworm and mother of 9 year old triplets. I read a lot of mysteries and novels, including Canadian literature. My husband also loves hard science fiction, classic literature, scientific books, and books on hiking and mountaineering.

About my libraryI began the catalogue with the children's books. Our kids are in grade four now, so their library has shifted from picture books to chapter books and now novels, as they have become avid readers.
I'm still cataloguing our adult collection, one shelf at a time, began with classic novels, Canadian literature, thrillers and mysteries. This is a lengthy project! There are a few thousand science fiction I haven't gotten to yet...

Noticed you liked Sanctuary, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also southern, a bit violent, and a bit dark :) I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter)in case you'd like to read more about the novel before you commit:

Thanks,

Thanks! Just reviewed Twin and Triplet Psychology: A Professional Guide to Working with Multiples. You might find it interesting as it plenty of information geared towards triplets, including a chapter, The Psychology of Triplets.
Just joined Library Thing and was very flattered (and thankful!) for your positive review of my book, Parenting School-Age Twins and Multiples. I loved researching and writing it, so I'm glad you found it of value.

My hat is off to you as the mother of triplets. I have fraternal twin boys and a younger singleton--it's more than I can handle!

Enjoy the summer!
The Haggis... It shows the cover in my catalogue and on the book page. Perhaps it will update in time?

More power to your arm with the triplets, I have a friend who has 12 year old triplets by herself (well no, obviously not "by herself", but she is now) and she deserves a medal.

A' the best.

Jim
Hi - I see you added me to your interesting libraries. I'm flattered. Looks like we have a lot of common interests in our reading. Nice picture by the way - get them hooked on books when they are young!
"It's exciting to see new features added, and to see more and more reviews and Common Knowledge added by users."
Yes indeed, though it gets temporarily frustrating when the staff are trying to get something new or an improvement to work and it interferes with other things.

"Christie fan"
Most of the crime books I'm cataloging are really in my wife's part of the library, she's more the crime fan, and the science fiction is more my part. I don't really consider myself a Christie fan, having read a couple of books a long time ago and not much enjoyed them, but I did like the TV series Miss Marple with Joan Hickson and Poirot with David Suchet, so I'll probably give the books another try.
Hello - Thanks for your review of Cue for Treason by Geoffrey Trease. Your last word - 'memorable' - is so true. I'm pushing 60 right now, but I remember with great fondness my desire to devour every Geoffrey Trease novel I could find, when I was 13. I guess I found him at the exact point when I could identify best with those oh-so-adventurous-for-the-early-1960s protagonists. I found two of Trease's novels at Alibris so my boys could read them, too.
