About meBooks are more than just an obsession, they are all I do when I'm not driving, writing or eating. I read while eating, on the loo, in the bath, in bed. I use audio books in the car and in the dark.
I've been writing for about three years, because I didn't think anyone was writing what I wanted to read - historical homoerotic romance - I'm glad to find that I was wrong and that there are handful of people writing it. I want to make it more acceptable. Gay wasn't invented last century, and the difficulties of gay men and women make gay historicals fascinating for me.
My first novel, Standish was published this year, and I've got 2 more nearly ready to go. I've also sold many short stories.
I'm looking forward to meeting other book fiends.

So happy to have found you here. Recently finished FROST FAIR, which I loved , not nearly long enough, had me yearning for more about the characters. I also loved STANDISH, and now enthralled andin the middle of TRANGRESSIONS. Keep writing! And I will keep reading...If you can recommend any other authors in the Gay Historical Romance Genre, please do. And accept my invitation as a friend here.
Thanks for getting me involved in your world.

(Frank Dempster Sherman)
At evening when I go to bed
I see the stars shine overhead.
They are the little daisies white
That dot the meadow of the night.
And often while I'm dreaming so,
Across the sky the moon will go.
It is a lady, sweet and fair,
Who comes to gather daisies there.
For, when at morning I arise,
There's not a star left in the skies,
She's picked them all
and dropped them down
Into the meadows of the town.

Now that LibraryThing has the new LTLocal, I can see members who are near me, which is great. I'm fascinated by your books - a whole new world.... and I guess we have horses in common too. If you hadn't written about driving, I would wonder if you are an acquaintance of mine, but he hasn't driven for years.
Congratulations on being published: I know how hard that is, having a couple of friends who write.
Regards
Sarah
