About meDiana Gabaldon is the author of the award-winning, NY Times bestselling Outlander novels - OUTLANDER, DRAGONFLY IN AMBER, VOYAGER, DRUMS OF AUTUMN, THE FIERY CROSS, A BREATH OF SNOW AND ASHES and soon AN ECHO IN THE BONE (Fall 2009) - as well as THE OUTLANDISH COMPANION, a non-fiction companion volume for the novels.

Gabaldon (it's pronounced "GAH-bull-dohn"-rhymes with "stone") has also written two historical mysteries, LORD JOHN AND THE PRIVATE MATTER, and LORD JOHN AND THE BROTHERHOOD OF THE BLADE, as well as several novellas featuring Lord John Grey which appeared in the collection, LORD JOHN AND THE HAND OF DEVILS.

I adored finally seeing you in person at Dragon*Con this past September. I have all of your books aand love them so very very much. Thank you for making the trip to Atlanta and making my weekend. I know it wasn't for me, but it was so inspiring.
Diana. I'm a huge fan of your Outlander novels. Delighted to see Patrick O'Brian's books feature in your library. As you may guess by my member name I am one of his worldwide appreciative fans and have been for many years. Kindest regards - Lo2weevils.
Looking forward to more of Lord John Grey.
Diana, your books have given me many hours of reading pleasure so it was a nice surprise to stumble across you on LibraryThing. By your recent additions I suspect you are also a knitter (are you on Ravelry?) I hope you will keep writing great books and look forward to reading & reviewing An Echo in the Bone soon.
