Always nice to find other fans of Martin. I still have A Feast for Crows left to read in ASOIF. How did you like it?

And of course, you have to love Tolkien.

Also, I read book one (Assassin's Apprentice) in the Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb a while back. I liked it but haven't gotten around to reading the other two. Have you read that series? How did you like the 2nd and 3rd novels? Which books by her would you recommend?

I'm glad I could help - good luck with the summer reading list project!
I love reading and re-reading wonderfully written children's books, and yes, Coraline is one those.
At last I've found someone else who has a novel by John Broderick - one that I'd not not come across before. I've recently read 'The Pilgrimage' - brilliant and it hangs in the memory. I'm a public librarian and have visited Ireland three times over the last 40 years. Best wishes, Peter
