Hey Ryes, I made a Listmania on Amazon with urban fantasy/hero fiction. Let me know if you come across anything I should add. http://www.amazon.com/gp/richpub/listman....

You're welcome! Many of the best series I have ever read were recommended to me by fellow readers and by authors that I already liked. That's why I picked up Del Franco - Rob Thurman recommended him and I love teh cal Leandros series. ;-)
Hey Ryes,

You know - I'm also feeling some M/M burnout. Hence all the urban fantasy reviews lately, I needed a break. Yeah, heroes are a tough breed to find these days. I just started reading the Connor Grey series by Mark Del Franco (Unshapely Things). Pretty good so far. A couple series I am looking at (but haven't yet read) are:
"Dead to Me" by Anton Strout and "Dog Days" by John Levitt. One last hero series that I own but haven't read is the Nightside series by Simon R. Green ("Something from the Nightside' is book 1) I'm hesitant about this one though, it seems to be a love it or hate it series. Hope this helps! let me know if you find a new hero series worth getting into. Jem
What a pleasant surprise to arrive at LibraryThing and discover one of my e-books already on someone's wish list. Glad to make your acquaintance.
Hi Ryes!

read your comment about the Michael Schiefelbein vampire trilogy. Tjough you could probably read and enjoy book three, I would definitely recommend reading in order. I haven't read three yet, but book two built directly off of book one. One introduces Victor and gives his history and motivations. Also explains some of the restrictions of vampirism. Two introduces his companion. I enjoyed the books, but they aren't for the faint of heart, or those easily offended. Victor was in love with Jesus Christ and chose evil after being rejected by him. I plan to read Transgressions after I finish the third Raised by Wolves book.

Hope this helps. :-)
Hi, Ryes, thank you so much for the accept and for your very kind comments! Yes, I found you via Elisa - hope that was all right. Also the Rainbow Review logo grabbed me - as I pop in there at least once a day to see what's happening. A very useful tip-off place for gay-themed books.

Hugs, and hope you have a good weekend. It is nearly the weekend, isn't it???

Hi~
Thanks for friending me, it's always nice to hear from other people, plus I've seen your name under books I was checking quite a few times before :) I'm just as hesitant to friend somebody I don't really know so it's good that you made the move~
Ah yeah, I don't like giving high ratings to books I personally couldn't enjoy, and I don't want to leave them blank either because this helps me remember later on whether I enjoyed a book or not (I don't have to waste time wondering what I'd enjoy re-reading LoL). I'm glad you were able to find a few good books because of that though :)

It's nice we're of the same mind for the stuff we dislike (it's easier to find good books from other people's library when you know they don't really like the same stuff as you), I admit to being able to enjoy BDSM when like you say, it's done right too :)
You are welcome! Elisa
Thank you! Once I discovered M/M, I kinda went nuts reading and buying it. Some of it is so good, it really deserves to be mainstream. You have a few I haven't gotten around to buying yet. Thanks for friending me.
